Aeroclub Mesogeion has performed great action in General Aviation. This action has to do with training flights, private flights of our members, participation in rallies (National-Local of Hellinic Aerosport Assosiation), and in programs for Forest Fire-Protection.  Our first airplane C150 SXANR at Tatoi Our club has participated succesfully at the Forest Fire-Protection of 2001 (started at 15/07/2001, finished at 28/09/2001) making 25 missions, 90 flight hours with 30 pilots, co-pilots and observers, finding 14 fires (4 of them were in dense-forest region) and one oil-lake at Salamina island.

During the last years General Aviation Status is not good. 2 airports (Marathon Civil Aviation Airport and Hellinikon International Airport) were closed down and destroyed because of the Olympic Games, while the cost of flight hour has been raised tremedously.  The panel of PIPER SENECA II of our club, SXNGA None the less, our club is trying to promote General Aviation having done remarkable steps during the last two years: Obtaining a 4-seat aeroplane, starting the Flying School, completing over than 100h/month.
